Financial file converters help you turn a supported document into editable rows for reconciliation or analysis. Choose by the document’s contents and file type before you begin.

Choose by the File You Have

Use PDF-to-Excel conversion for a general table you need to work with in a spreadsheet. For a bank statement, choose bank-statement conversion when you need transactions in a consistent row format.

A text-based PDF contains text you can select. A scan contains an image of the page and needs text recognition before its rows can be extracted. Check the converter’s supported file types before starting, including whether it accepts scans. A PDF file extension alone does not tell you which kind you have.

Check the Converted Rows

Compare the converted rows with the original document before using them. Check that dates stay with the correct amounts and that values appear in the right columns. A misplaced decimal or a row split across pages can change the figures you use.

For bank statements, compare opening and closing balances and check the debit and credit columns. Resolve missing or duplicated transactions against the original before reconciliation. Keep the original document beside the converted file so you can trace a row back to its source.
