Client onboarding, simplified
Less time chasing client details, more time preparing returns.
Made for Australian accounting firms
Choose an accounting validator based on what you have in front of you: an entity or bank identifier, an exported file or business expense records. Each tool explains its checks and what the result means.
Choose the Check You Need
Use the ABN and ACN number check when you want to check whether an identifier follows the expected number rules. A passing result does not confirm registration or identify your client. Confirming the registered entity and checking who you are dealing with are separate tasks.
Choose the CSV check for tabular data you need to read or import. It checks file format. A readable file can still contain incorrect amounts or client details, so review the contents before using them.
The IBAN validator checks an international bank identifier’s country format and checksum. A passing result does not confirm an account or its owner.
Use the ABA validator for an Australian payment file with fixed-width records. It checks record formats and control totals before bank upload. Passing those checks does not confirm that the bank will accept or complete the payments.
Prepare the Number or File
For a number check, have the ABN, ACN or IBAN you want to check ready. Read the selected tool’s input instructions before entering it.
For the CSV check, have the exported CSV file ready and follow the tool’s input instructions. Keep the original export so you can compare it with any corrected copy. For an ABA check, bring the original payment export. Choose the tool below to enter your number or file.
Review Business Expense Records
Choose the business expense tool when you need to categorise expenses and review the amounts in each row. Enter expense rows locally or bring a CSV with the expense dates, descriptions and amounts. Have your category choices, GST treatment and business-use percentages ready.
The expense tool uses those supplied details to calculate category totals and amounts for review. It flags rows needing attention. A CSV format check tells you whether the file can be read. Expense review checks the records inside it.

5 validators
Start here
- ABN Validator
Check an ABN’s format in your browser and test an ACN alongside it. See typing errors without confusing a number check with register status.
- CSV Validator
Choose a CSV file to check quoting, column counts and required fields locally, then inspect the row errors before importing the data.
- Business Expense Tool
Check your entered or imported business expenses on your device. Group costs, calculate supplied GST and business-use amounts, then export a review list.
More validators
- ABA Validator
Your ABA payment file stays in your browser. Check record formats, credit totals and header or trailer errors before uploading it to the bank.
- IBAN Validator
Is an IBAN mistyped? Enter it to check its country length and checksum locally, with a clear explanation of what the result establishes.
