Choose the Published Criteria

This small business loan qualification calculator checks the NAB QuickBiz Loan’s published entry conditions for its online application. Each condition has its own result. The summary identifies unmet conditions and facts still needing evidence.

The bundled profile uses NAB’s full eligibility criteria. The QuickBiz product page sets the requested loan range of $5,000 to $250,000. These conditions belong to this product and route.

Other lenders use different conditions. For example, ANZ GoBiz’s eligibility page includes a six-month operating-history route and different borrowing limits. This checker includes only the NAB QuickBiz online profile.

Enter the Client’s Business Facts

Use the business records to enter annual turnover, GST registration and the trading start date. Choose the assessment date and entity type. An empty amount or date means the fact is unknown. The assessment date is required.

For a partnership, count the individual partners. For a company, count directors. A trust needs its trustee structure, ABN registration date and deed details. For individual trustees, count trustees. For a corporate trustee, count its directors.

Answer the residence-history question for the applicant, additional directors or partners and every shareholder holding at least 25%. Include anyone living overseas now or during the past three years. Enter the youngest applicant’s age and confirm citizenship or permanent residency.

Use aggregate amounts and factual answers. The checker needs no client name, ABN value or document upload. Entries stay in this page’s memory. It makes no register lookup, bank connection or loan application.

Check Each Eligibility Condition

NAB’s full eligibility criteria require GST registration, annual turnover of at least $75,000 and at least 12 months of business operation. The checker compares calendar anniversaries. A start on a leap day reaches its anniversary on February’s final day in a non-leap year.

The entity checks allow a sole trader, up to two individual partners or a company with up to five directors. Other joint borrowers and partnerships containing a company fail this online profile.

An eligible trust is a non-government discretionary trust established in Australia, with individual beneficiaries and an ABN registered for at least 12 months. Its trustees must be up to two individuals or a company with up to five directors. Corporate trustee shares must be beneficially held. For a sole-director company or corporate trustee, any company secretary must be that sole director.

Funds must be wholly or predominantly for business purposes and cannot pay the Australian Taxation Office. The online route excludes franchise businesses. Funds need an Australian bank account in the business name. The product has fixed principal-and-interest monthly payments over 12, 24, 36, 48 or 60 months.

For an existing NAB customer, existing business lending must be below $1 million. Unsecured business lending, including the requested loan, must be no more than $250,000. An existing business loan alone does not prevent another application. A previous QuickBiz facility must have been established at least 12 months earlier.

When NAB requests financial data, the profile requires supported accounting software and at least 12 continuous reconciled months. NAB lists Xero, Intuit QuickBooks and MYOB Essentials, Business or AccountRight. Select Unknown when the request or the supporting records remain unsettled.

Read the Qualification Result

Met means the entered fact satisfies that public condition. Unmet identifies a failed condition. Unresolved means evidence or an applicability answer is missing. A condition outside the selected entity or data-request branch is marked Not applicable.

The headline shows Conditions unmet when any condition fails. If none fails but a fact remains unknown, it shows Facts unresolved. Entry checks met appears only when every applicable public condition passes.

Business loan qualification and eligibility both mean this preliminary check against public entry conditions. Neither result supplies an approval probability or a maximum affordable loan.

Compare three versions of the fictional company example. Keep every other answer unchanged, including its two directors, $45,000 request and $25,000 existing unsecured NAB lending.

  • With $75,000 turnover and no relevant overseas residence, every applicable condition is met. The summary reads Entry checks met.
  • Reduce turnover to $65,000 and leave the residence answer as No. Only turnover becomes unmet. The summary reads Conditions unmet. Annual accounts establish the turnover figure.
  • Restore turnover to $75,000 and change residence history to Unknown. Only the residence condition becomes unresolved. The summary reads Facts unresolved. Obtain the relevant shareholder’s residence history.

Confirming no overseas residence in the final case resolves that condition and restores Entry checks met. The turnover result and every other condition stay unchanged.

A business loan approval calculator cannot infer a lender’s private credit decision from these answers. Credit assessment, lending criteria and identity verification remain separate lender decisions. This checker gives no approval percentage or credit score.

For scheduled payments or the principal supported by a payment budget, use the loan repayment calculator. Passing these entry checks does not calculate an affordable instalment.

Prepare the Application Workpaper

The fictional example starts with $65,000 annual turnover, a company with two directors and a requested $45,000 loan. Existing NAB unsecured lending is $25,000. All other applicable facts pass except the unknown overseas-residence history of a shareholder holding at least 25%.

The result has one unmet turnover condition and one unresolved residence condition. Changing turnover to $75,000 removes the unmet condition. Confirming that every relevant person has no overseas residence during the three-year period resolves the remaining fact. The headline then becomes Entry checks met.

Download the local CSV workpaper to retain the profile and source links, entered facts and each condition’s result. Unmet and unresolved rows identify the records needed. The workpaper keeps the lender’s untested credit assessment separate from these entry checks.
