InfoTrack Pricing for Accounting Practices

Work out InfoTrack costs for your practice’s client checks. Separate platform access from paid searches, verification packages and ASIC extracts.

InfoTrack pricing separates complimentary AML/CTF Compliance Centre access from paid searches and onboarding packages. Your practice’s cost depends on the entities, people and checks covered. Budget each client’s selected package and any extra searches, rather than assuming free access includes free verification.

Platform Access and Chargeable Searches

InfoTrack’s AML/CTF Compliance Centre has complimentary access, with no subscription or additional platform fee for the Centre. Its official cost breakdown charges searches separately. That access statement applies to the Centre, so use the specific service’s terms when budgeting other InfoTrack products.

InfoTrack lists individual onboarding and organisation or trust onboarding as pay-per-use services. Ongoing screening is also charged per use. Staff onboarding has a separate one-off charge per staff member. Keep those costs separate from your new-client budget.

AML Onboarding & VOI packages have a fixed price tailored to the checks and information a matter needs. Identity verification is the foundation. Selected inclusions can cover politically exposed persons (PEPs), sanctions screening and adverse media, alongside questionnaires and risk assessment.

For a service-specific quote, send InfoTrack the entity types and the number of people you need checked. Name the required searches and any ongoing monitoring. Request a quote in dollars that states the usage unit, goods and services tax (GST) treatment and included checks. Ask how additional people, repeat attempts and extra searches are charged. Put any account or contract terms beside the quote before approving it.

Budgeting a New Client’s Checks

Build the onboarding budget from the entity and people you must check, then remove charges already covered by the selected package. An ASIC extract, a beneficial-owner search and a person’s identity verification answer different questions. Keep each visible in your worksheet even when one package pays for several checks.

InfoTrack’s Centre cost breakdown lists an organisation or trust package with an ASIC search, ultimate beneficial-owner search and two individuals. Use that stated inclusion when reviewing a matching quote. A client group with more people or entities needs a cost allowance for the additional work.

The following hypothetical worksheet covers a company client with three people selected for verification. It also covers a trust client with a corporate trustee and two selected people. These counts illustrate budgeting, not a rule about who every practice must verify.

For each client, calculate the total as the quoted package plus additional people, extra searches and selected monitoring. Use the quote’s tax basis consistently. Keep staff time in a separate column so the worksheet distinguishes purchased checks from time spent resolving a result.

Before ordering, list every person once and record their roles in the client group. A director who is also a beneficial owner can appear in several parts of the file. That does not automatically require several identical purchases. Reuse depends on the check’s purpose and applicable requirements, so record the reason for any fresh check.

Checking Charges Against the Work Requested

Match each purchased search to the client entity or person and the verification task it supports. Record the order reference, service name and charge. Save the result with the file and note who reviewed it. This gives staff a way to check whether the same search has already been ordered.

A second staff member can review the worksheet before purchase and reconcile the invoice afterwards. Query a duplicate order or a charge outside the agreed package using its order reference. If a result needs investigation, record the follow-up task separately from a decision to buy another search.

For company documents, compare direct ASIC purchase with InfoTrack using the same extract and inclusions. ASIC sells current company extracts and current and historical company extracts directly. Its ASIC’s register guidance distinguishes these documents from other paid information.

The government document fee covers that document. A provider’s charge can also cover services included in its quoted package. Compare the complete provider charge with the document and other work you would buy separately. Do not compare a current extract with a historical extract or an entity-verification package.

Choose the ASIC company extract your practice needs before approving the order. Then give staff a written purchase list that names the document, covered people and permitted extra checks. Reconcile the invoice against that list so your onboarding cost follows the work actually requested.
